Thank you for supporting the blood program and the youth in your community!Your American Red Cross"At first, I decided to host a blood drive to gain volunteer hours for school; however, as I continued to work with the Red Cross, I realized that hosting a blood drive taught me how to be a leader and how to contribute to my community. I gained communication skills, leadership skills, and the ability to give back to my community in a different way."

We need you at Study Tables! This is an after-school program for students up to grade 6 where volunteers help with homework, reading, and increasing math skills.
Some days we have up to 25 students and so we need extra help with the tutoring.
If you are interested in this program please contact our director, Susan Sutton, at [email protected] or simply show up after school beginning September 9th. We have this program Monday through Thursday (unless school is cancelled or not in session). We finish at 4pm.

Make charity quilts for donating to local programs that provide services to sick children, chemo patients, homeless and domestic violence shelters, and the elderly.
Join us for one of our workshop at which we piece together quilt tops for donating. Because we work in groups and use simple patterns, our typical charity quilt takes about 3 hours to make.
Who Can Participate:
Anyone! Participants do not need to have sewing experience, as we always have experienced quilters available to lead the group.
All supplies (fabric, thread, and batting) are donated so all you need to bring is yourself! We also have sewing machines, irons, ironing boards, etc. to use.
