On behalf of the entire Monroeville school district I want to wish our parents, students and staff a safe and happy holiday season. Be mindful to take time to give thanks and reflect on the true meaning of the season. In keeping with the spirit of the holidays let me remind everyone there are a number of school programs and events that are scheduled for the days leading up to our holiday break. You are cordially invited to attend any one of our holiday events to enhance your enjoyment of the season.
A reminder, the holiday break signals the end to the first semester of the school year. Many high school students will be preparing for semester exams, college credit plus winter quarter and the transition to second semester classes. While at the same time the elementary is busy working on holiday programs and end of semester class work. With all this in mind, I encourage parents and guardians to frequently visit the district Website, Facebook Page or Twitter to get the most current information for the school year. Be sure to contact your student's school office should you have questions or concerns regarding your student's school performance.
Parents, remember to update your One Call contact information as necessary to ensure that all messages, school closings, and delay information are sent to the correct locations.
To update your One Call contact information go to the District Website Home Page and click on the Parents Tab located at the top of the page under Monroeville Local Schools, then under Resources click on Add/Remove Notification Calls, fill out the information requested and click submit. Completing this process will insure that you receive all One Call announcements.
Once again, if you have questions or need information please call your student's school office or the Monroeville Board of Education Office between the hours of 7am and 3pm at 419-465-2610.
G. Ralph Moore, Superintendent
