Huron County Public Health (HCPH) is ready to help your children prepare to head back to school this fall with all essential immunizations, sports physicals, and well-child visits to keep you healthy in the classroom and on the field. HCPH has a range of immunizations available for infants, children, and teens including Varicella (chickenpox), Dtap/Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, & Pertussis), Hepatitis A/Hepatitis B, Influenza, Polio and more. No child will be turned away for Vaccines for Children (VFC) vaccines if their family is unable to pay. To schedule your child’s appointment, call HCPH at 419-668-1652 ext. 241.

The governor reaffirmed that if schools are still in session on June 2nd it is a local decision whether to lift the masking social distancing protocols. At the May 17th BOE meeting the Monroeville BOE decided to lift the COVID protocols on June 2nd. Wearing masks in school or at school functions will be a personal option not a requirement beginning June 2nd and beyond.
