Announcements:
Attention Freshman and Sophomores.  Cookie Dough orders and money are due to Mr. Dunlap tomorrow morning.  Please make sure order forms are completed and all money collected.  If you have any questions, please see Mr. Dunlap.  
 
SENIORS:  Mrs. Bellamy has sent out the Local Scholarship Packet for this year's graduating class. Be sure to check your MHS emails.  The application packets will also be available by visiting the Guidance page on the Monroeville High School website. All applications are due to Mrs. Bellamy in The High School Library by MONDAY, APRIL 19TH.  There are over 30 scholarship opportunities available this year. Make sure you do not miss out on this financial help for college.
 
If you are interested in joining the Monroeville Marching Band Color Guard there is a sign-up sheet in the high school office.  
 
Anyone interested in taking Teen Leadership next year, please stop by Mrs. Paul's room to pick up an application.   Applications are due Friday, April 23rd.  Selections are based on GPA, attendance, school event involvement, interviewing skills, and teacher recommendations.   Interviews will take place in May.  
 
TLC member Stacey Legg is sponsoring a 5K Run & Walk on May 1st at 9 AM.  The cost is $20 pre-entry and $25 day of the race entry, this does include a free shirt.   Proceeds will be going to a New Track for MHS.  For more information and registration, please email [email protected]

The Monroeville High School Marching Band is getting ready to audition students to be members of “The Eagle Twirlers.” If you are interested in being a baton twirler for the marching band, please sign up in the high school office or in the band room/high school auditorium. Mr. Hayes has audition packets, so please make sure to get one! You must CURRENTLY be in 6th grade or higher in order to audition. Please turn in the permission slip on the last page of the audition packet to the high school office or to Mr. Hayes by Wednesday, April 14th. Auditions are on Saturday, April 17th in The MAC at 10:00 am. There will be an open gym in The High School Auditorium Tuesday, April 13th, Wednesday, April 14th, Thursday, April 15th, and Friday, April 16th from 4:00 pm-6:00 pm for the twirlers to practice! Please utilize this opportunity!

Buckeye Girls State applications have been emailed to all Juniors girls.  Please check your email for the information packets.
 
Monroeville Eagles Fastpitch Association is offering Summer softball for girls ages 7-18.  The summer season will start in the middle of May and run through July.   Anyone interested must be signed up and paid by April 15th.  Sign-up forms are available in the High School Office.   
 
Offseason Lifting and Conditioning:  Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 3-4:30 open to all boys and girls grades 8-12. 
 
The Huron County Democratic Party is pleased to announce our Scholarship essay contest worth $2500.00.  The application form is attached.  Please share it widely.  The contest is open to all Huron Country resident seniors who will graduate this school year and includes homeschooled students as well as those completing the GED.  We encourage essayists to talk with teachers and counselors about their essay content, research their topic, and take time to consider what to write.  The deadline to apply is Friday, April 15th.  
 
Anyone that would like an Eagle Gaiter face mask, they are available in the HS Office for $5.00.  Proceeds go to the Athletic Boosters.
 
ALL STUDENTS: Make sure you take home your Chromebooks every evening.   If we would have a calamity day, students will use their Chromebooks to access their schoolwork for that day!  
 
Attention All Students and Parents:  Please remember to log onto Final Forms and submit and update ALL forms for this school year!!!!  Students and parents will both need to log on and submit forms.
