What are classroom guidance lessons? Classroom guidance is an opportunity for me to reach all students in a whole group setting to enhance their academic, personal/social, and career development. It is also an opportunity for me to get to work and to get to know all students. Classroom guidance lessons focus on learning how to get along with others, making good decisions, controlling anger, accepting differences, and being aware of strengths and weakness. Many of these skills are taught at home. It is my intent to supplement learning that takes place at home with small group and classroom lessons.
