6th grade math

Expectations

I expect my students to come with an open mind and ready to learn. I believe the students should be ready for class with their math notebook and ready to engage. The math notebook is a mathematical tool that will represent all of their experiences in math this school year. Students are to keep all data, notes, and example problems in their math notebook. Students will grow not only in math terms but also skills needed to succeed as a future student.

Math is the study of numbers, equations, functions, geometric shapes, and their relationships. Topics include ratio and proportional relationships, number system, expressions and equations, statistics, and probability.
