In a small village, you don't expect to have potential National Champions in Motocross, but here in Monroeville (and Bellevue where they live) Grace (3rd Grade) and Aiden (5th Grade) Goodwin are on the right track to do so! Both kids have competed in the 2015 Mountain Dew ATV Motocross National Championship Series this past summer. We traveled all over the eastern side of the country. The competition was incredible and Grace ended the season with a 2nd place overall finish! Aidan was inline to take the championship himself but just couldn't get his points back after his femur break in May, however he still ended up 12th in the nation. We also ran as many state competitions as possible in between our national dates. Both Aidan and Grace have placed in the top 3 at any of the local races we've attended. Evan (Kindergarten) made his racing debut with the Huron County fair race and came in 2nd, only to his sister and then went on to finish 5th at his very first state race just a couple of weeks ago.
This Saturday, November 14, 2015 the Goodwin Family will be hosting a Meet the Team Day at Ace Hardware in Bellevue from 12p-3p. Here you can meet the racers and see their quads! Items donated from area businesses will be raffled off and all proceeds will go towards helping these great racers with their 2016 race season!
